A Difficult Case of Mobile

Dracula: I just can’t sell this. They are not buying this at the Goblin Market. They are not even replacing it. I tried the wanderers’ tavern and the merchants’ guild, but they are not ready to take it to the other markets.

Vampire Owl: What are you talking about, Uncle Dracula? Did you go to the Goblin Market again? I thought that we were supposed to visit the place only during emergencies.

Dracula: This was a clear case of emergency. I had to get rid of this mobile before she returns home after that inter-realm tournament.

Vampire Bat: You are getting rid of the mobile of Mavis Dracula? You are going to have a really angry vampire daughter if that is the case.

Dracula: I can handle the anger, but not this terrible case of human contact with this terrible invention which is banned in thirteen realms including the Werewolf Lands.

Vampire Owl: The werewolves banned mobile phones in their territory? This is surely news for me.

Dracula: Yes, they have had enough of it. The mobile phone radiation has been interfering with their ability to transform at night.

Vampire Owl: I have read that they are harmful to vampires too. Doctor Frankenstein has confirmed the same on his latest findings marked on the walls of the Imperial Vampire Library.

Vampire Bat: Yes, it affects multiple vampire abilities. The Vampire Elders have warned against it in a notice sent from the Old Vampire World. They will be here to speak more about it on the next blood moon night.

Vampire Owl: Then we should really get rid of this. If it affects my ability to fly, that would be more depressing than an angry werewolf on a full moon night.

Vampire Bat: Can’t you just throw it away? You can even dig a pit and bury it. We can even ask our zombie minions to deal with them inside a graveyard.

Dracula: No! Mavis’ special skills allows her to detect any trace of it. We have to try better. Only a non-vampire can hide it from her detection.

Vampire Owl: Did you talk to many people at the Goblin Market? Did you find all of the master merchants present there?

Dracula: Yes, there was this green goblin who was ready to take it, but would need an elixir of life with it.

Vampire Bat: They would buy it and you will have to pay for the same? That is rather strange for the Goblin Market. They used to be so much better.

Dracula: Yes, and there was another person who would need some time to check the mobile in detail for a few days before buying it. An orc had set a new trading post just outside the market. He said that he doesn’t even believe that this a mobile phone. He further told me that works of magic are more real and better for the future of our realm, for which there will be a new combined order passed by all races banning all electronic equipment.

Vampire Owl: I once tried to sell my mobile at a shop run by these humans. They were so evil that they gave me only twenty percent of the original price, even though the mobile was rather new. The options are really bad even in their realm. There is no real advantage with this portal leading to the human world.

Vampire Bat: Do you know that you can sell your mobile phones within sixty seconds? There is an easy way around with #CleanUpCashOut at Cashify.

Dracula: I can transform into a bat, a wolf and a polar bear in sixty seconds.

Vampire Owl: Polar bear? That is new. I thought the third choice was raven. I remember hearing something like that during one of those special classes.

Vampire Bat: Well, it is not too late to try this quick option. I don’t think that you have that much of time or that many of choices. I am sure that Mavis will be here in less than twenty four hours. Her team of wolves are already waiting at the back of the castle.

You can sell your mobile, tablet or even laptop at https://www.cashify.in/ – you can use the coupon code CLEANCASH for additional cash. The time is for #CleanUpCashOut.

Long Distance Runners

After buying that Swipe 3D Tablet, gaming has come back to me. It is not about any other game though, as they have all been running games, except for My Emma about which I shall write later. It all started with Temple Run 2 which was already installed in the tablet and then I needed a few more games. So I installed more of the similar games and ended up having so many games within never-ending running worlds. All seemed so similar, but I really wanted to play them all as our heroes keep running and running, and here is the list of my endless running games 😀 All the images used in this blog post are from Google Apps Store.

1. Temple Run: As the beginner game of them all and the most played Android game which I have seen on the phones of almost all my friends, challenged only by Angry Birds, this one makes us feel that everything else are just random imitations, especially with the second part of the game released. Everything seemed perfect with this game, and just after installing it, I had played it so many times. Now I have both parts of the game, and it seems to me that no other game can have the perfection of this one. Sooner or later, the protagonist in the game will realize that he can’t get away after stealing artifacts from monkeys 😀

2. Spirit Run: This is the closest neighbour to the one above. The setting remains a temple, but just that it is more of an Aztec pyramid temple instead of the original. There are no adventurers here though, and instead there is the native spirit running around to save nature – this person can transform into a wolf and go invincible instead of the original shield option of Temple Run. There are also other unlockable characters who turn into other creatures. Its advantage is that the graphics happen to the best of them all. A lot of options need internet though including the scores.

3. Zombie Run: The one real bad thing here is that there is no exit button. But otherwise, this is a fine piece of running game which has a zombie with a Santa Hat running from the evil humans who have started a bar on top his swampish resting place. He keeps running away from the dangerous alive creatures, collecting magic potions and fishes. The game has a nice environment, lots of details and high collection of statistics. This one scores with a zombie and does well.

4. Subway Surfer: Temple Run changed and made suitable to the modern age and further interesting for the new age kids, this one includes a kid who runs away from the police and the cop dog after doing something really stupid with a graffiti in the subway. There are trains which keep coming, and block which will end his run, and also being caught by the police who does the job of the monkeys in Temple Run and a monster in Spirit Run. There are some nice, stylish areas in the game, but the need for the internet for daily challenge and some extra advertisements ruin the time. And the exit button is not found yet.

5. Zombie Chasing: They can’t even make one nice zombie for the start-up screen here. But the game manages to be better than the impression that it gives. Yes, there are zombies chasing our hero and this time we go through the dark dungeons collecting coins and trying to get rid of the monsters. The problems are all there and we have to jump, slide and turn. The graphics is less due to its setting, but still fine, and it is pretty good with this background. The cleaning softwate does have some problem with this though. But a lot more statistics please?

6. Tomb Run: Even though this one impressed me with the app page, there was not much there in the game. From the first screen itself, it seemed kind of out of order. But I liked the variety in traps which were there and death thus had some more style. It is good to be in the tomb of monsters and traps which can kill us in a nicer brutal manner. There are not even much options here, and the absence of a detailed status hurts as we are rather unclear what to unlock when, and if there is any advantage of the continuous running that we put up during our joblessness.

7. City Zombie Run: This movie has a protagonist with a gun which he starts shooting if there is a zombie in front of him. Set in the city with all signs of a zombie apolcapyse, this game is not that easy to control, and movement remains pain for most occasions. There are not enough score details to add to the motivation or a better collection of instructions here. But this can surely remind you of Resident Evil as you go through the infested city after something like a virus outbreak.

8. Lost Temple: I downloaded this one and found out that it was Lost Temple 2 – so there was a part one? This one begins with a huge protagonist who can somehow move, and has a hook on his hand – not really the best starts there. The game also has no scores being saved, and there is no user-friendly menus, forget the friendly controls. This one surely has the need to be like Temple Run, but is nowhere close to it. This is mostly a lost game, and should prove useful if the other games are not available and you really need to run.

Using Flipkart Vouchers

There are not many things more awesome than using a Flipkart voucher, and the best thing about it is that we can use fifteen vouchers together, and so even if we only have five hundred rupees vouchers, we can buy things up-to seven thousand five hundred rupees. If things go out of stock after the order is made, we will not only get the money back, but also some extra money as the Flipkart wallet amount that can be added during the purchase. That felt very fair to me. Here are a few useful things I bought with the Flipkart vouchers. ***The photos are from Flipkart website, and prices are as shown there now; it might have been cheaper or costlier when I bought them.

1. Swipe 3D Life Plus HDMI Tablet (Rs 3400)
I have always wanted a tablet, but wondered what the use of one would be, and why should I have one when the house has too many laptops and mobiles already. But everyone I knew had a tablet and so I decided to get one – then I saw this one on Flipkart; never knew much about the company it seemed that the reviews were a little inclined to the positive side, and with all its features and with tagline of being India’s first 3D tablet, this was a fine option for my little use. Now it has become my daily gaming device and music player, with hopes to turn into the movie and book device. It might not be a big deal or a powerful thing, but does my job and for this price, it was all that was needed.

2. Prestige PSSFB Toast (Rs 1195)
I had already bought an electric kettle for my room, and with the tea problem solved with that option, I need the option to make something to eat right in my room which can boast of being a hybrid of kitchen and bedroom. I remember the name was a little different for this electronic device at that time even as both names still seem to exist for the same thing, but this sandwitch toaster became a perfect choice for me. You could make sandwiches in your room, eat them and make those people who come to your house have the same with tea. It actually seemed to be a really interesting one, and it is the first time I am seeing a sandwich toaster.

3. Bajaj ATX 4 750 W Pop Up Toaster (Rs 1127)
So, what would I do when there was no need for the sandwich? The bread was always there to be bought, and my room had already transformed into a place for edible things, and then there came the option of this bread toaster with two years warranty – that made me confident, even as I haven’t bought many things from Bajaj in the recent years. I could actually buy the best looking toaster from the list (it was just one of the two toasters that had delivery here and so it wasn’t really a big option), and this has actually saved us during the sudden visit of many guests, and along with the Prestige PSSFB Toast, this works very well.

4. Home and Bazaar Antiquity Analog Wall Clock (Rs 1249)
The clock that I had in my room was quite big and I was regularly asked to put that one the main room – I was looking for a clock that would suit my room, and I came upon this one as the clock had seller here for the first time when I was looking to get something with those vouchers. It looks nice and as something of good antique value. The problem was that it was smaller than it seemed on the photo and should be difficult for older people to see the time. But for me, it fit to my small space on the wall, really well. There was a discount when I had it, and without that lower price, I would say this clock is over-priced because of its small size.

5. Wildcraft Wallet (Rs 545)
This was one of the first things that I bought, and the awesomeness of this one had me searching for more things on the site. I have been using some random wallets without thinking much, but this one changed things a lot. People actually noticed this one a lot, and I bought a blue one as well as grey one so that I can use both of them, one after the other. I have been impressed by many things, but this is the first time for a wallet, and it was not something that I had expected. This is a five hundred and fourty five rupees well spent, and even without the vouchers, this is an excellent choice as there seems to be no adjustment in quality either – and you know the looks.

wallt

There are also a huge number of books, especially those related to English Language and Literature, History and General Knowledge which are blessed with the free delivery option, and also a few things for the kitchen including the pressure cooker, glass set, container set, frying pan and similar things along with surge protectors, plant containers, games and toys, gardening equipment, plus the stationary stuff. I have felt that Flipkart has some very nice options for shopping for some useful stuff which are not available locally.
