We often wonder what it takes to bring a smile on the face of someone, especially with food. There is nothing which is equal to getting our precious loved ones smile. But it makes one wonder what it takes to bring that smile, and that too with food. A smile has to come with a snack on the plate; how difficult would that be? It is surely not among the easiest things around as people have different tastes. The same food item can’t bring the smile for all of them in the same way.
People choose their food, and sometimes, situations make the choice for them. People turn vegetarian or non-vegetarian, choosing to prefer whatever they like depending on the people and society around them. Even among these choices, they have the special interests, and only by knowing about the same, there can be smiles on their faces while getting the opportunity to have the food they like. An ideal situation is when they have the right to make that choice whenever they want, wherever they wish to do so.
Long ago, I asked my little cousin what made her happy, and she had replied ice cream. The next time, she added chocolates, and it was followed by the special interests, including a specific brand of chocolates and the particular flavours of ice cream including Spanish Delight, Butterscotch and Blackcurrant which often shocked her parents so much that they asked me to get the ice cream. I was interested in having a few myself, and never hesitated to bring the new flavours, and there were smiles with food!
All those flavours were good for me, and all those brands. Later, she and her little brother wanted Milk Bikis, because this product had the smiley faces on them with white cream inside. I was also not out of this Milk Bikis love at that time, and had to get them too, with those Little Hearts biscuits which also made the impact among kids. Such things were successful in catching the attention of the kids all the time. They were indeed the special ones.
I would say that it was a really smart idea at that time when other biscuits were all simple round, square or rectangular in shape. This one scored better over those usual shapes with ease. Therefore, more packets were to be bought from the shop. There was nothing which matched the smiles of the Milk Bikis, but now we have the much needed replacement in the form of McCain Smiles. This one brings that nostalgia back and along with the same, all those happy faces on the food that we have to eat.
This time, it is the turn of potatoes to make us happy, and the kids are going to love it with these delicious potatoes with smiley faces. It is always nice to have the food smiling at us, inspiring us to provide a smile in return. The question is, if potatoes can remain so happy until being eaten, why can’t we humans heep the smiles going until we are taken to the grave? It is time to have some potato inspired smiles on our faces, as humans rarely inspire the same.
The happiness can spread from there, with McCain Aloo Tikki, Veggie Burgers, Chilli Garlic Potato Bites, Super Wedges, Veggie Nuggets, French Fries, Veggie Fingers, Cheese and Jalapeno Nuggets, Potato Cheese Shots and more, because there is a little bit of that smile in the rest of the products too, even if not visible from outside. A smile on the face in never a bad thing, isn’t it? Unless it is a very evil smile which is going to bring the end of the world with chaos and destruction.
