Through the Oubliette

Werewolf Anger: The dungeons here are quite interesting. I am becoming a big fan of these things.

Vampire Bat: Actually, that is not a dungeon. It is an oubliette. You can see the difference from the style itself.

Werewolf Anger: In our world, there is no difference. We call them the Dungeons of Transformation.

Vampire Bat: Maybe it is case in the werewolf lands. But, here we keep them separately. We consider them different, both in the brain and the heart. These oubliettes can only be accessed by a hatch on the top while dungeons are like rooms, just with a lock which is rarely opened. Dungeons make it too easy for the evil ones.

Werewolf Anger: Is there a difference in the type of prisoners who are supposed to be here? As of now, I see nobody inside – or are they invisible creatures which can’t be detected by the werewolf eyes? I have had eye problems, but I should be able to see anything not belonging to magical spheres of fire and air.

transyl (1)

Vampire Bat: Actually, we could manage none so far. The people to be imprisoned here are not the usual kind of people. They are not found in this realm, but belongs to the world of humans.

Werewolf Anger: I understand. So, what kind of people are we talking about here?

Vampire Bat: You will know that. Do you see that greenery around our castle?

Werewolf Anger: Yes, I do. It is a nice view.

Vampire Bat: I saw such greenery in the human world on a beautiful day and in the next year, it wasn’t there. So, we decided to keep this place open for such people who destroy the beauty of nature by littering, deforestation and bothering wildlife in the name of tourism. We are actually planning to create special trashbins for them and plant trees in some lesser visited areas when they are not looking.

Werewolf Anger: I have to say that I like that idea a lot. Conservation of nature is a very important thing. Our kind has evolved in the forests and not the cities or towns. I consider these modernity as a terrible thing which we should fight together.

Vampire Bat: There is also space here for those who write, draw and spit on the monuments. They call themselves tourists, but if they are involved in such activities, I can only call them vandals or barbarians. We consider each monument as significant as our Great Vampire Castle. We won’t spare any of them. Nobody has the right to diminish the beauty of architecture which is a work of art.

Werewolf Anger: I am not sure about that because we live in caves, made with special rocks, of course. But I understand your feelings.

Vampire Bat: I have also expanded the list by adding those people who don’t value the local culture. It is very much needed because humans have always been fighting over cultures, languages, customs and traditions along with their religion, caste and race based problems. Everyone needs to be a good guest who respects the host no matter where they are visiting! When there are things which are not to be done, they shouldn’t be done! No alcohol means none, and no non-vegetarian food means a clear no! When photos are not allowed, capture the sights with your eyes or pen and paper.

transyl (2)

Werewolf Anger: Yes, like we respect each other and the two separate cultures divided by the blood-moon and the blue-moon, united by the aversion towards silver. So, when can I see some prisoners here? I am already very angry at them.

Vampire Bat: Well, we can’t be sure about that. The official permission letter hasn’t been received from the Vampire Elders. We are waiting for the same. After we are able to get that, we can contact some of the human governments to send them some of these irresponsible people.

Werewolf Anger: I shall keep the anger restricted to my name until then. It is really depressing to have all the anger in the name and not able to put it in display. My services will be available to you whenever there is the need.

Vampire Bat: I hope that the humans understand that responsible tourism is the path to follow. Otherwise, Werewolf Anger will see them in the oubliette for whatever kind of pollution and harm they have caused. The wood elves will also have something to say and a lot more to contribute. The world needs nature and all that are associated with it; the historical monuments are the symbols of the collective achievement of the known universe, and we need to keep them in the best way possible.

Year 2015: Story so Far

There were many happenings in the year 2015, and a lot of them haven’t been positive. There is the problem of seeing so many people who can’t respect the opinions of others when we are blogging. When outside the blogging, there is the problem of facing the relatives who ask the two big questions, which all of us Indians already know about. Life has been mediocre outside the blogging world or even worse, but as far as blogging is concerned, there were some positives throughout this year, most of them for which I am thankful to BlogAdda.

The best incident related to blogging happened to me in this March, in the month of my birthday itself, with winning the pass for the India Today Conclave contest, my first win from BlogAdda and it was huge. My post The Vision of a Lost Bat won the grand prize and my other post The World Remade was granted the runner-up prize. This was also the first time that I won anything for a post featuring the Vampire Bat. It was a perfect inspiration for me to blog at that time.

Then in May, there was the #DilKiDealOnSnapDeal activity from BlogAdda which made me feel that I could win more than one, and that my earlier victory was not a fluke. This second win made me feel better because it was something which I shared from my memories, and it is also something that I still cherish doing. My post Through the Sands of Time provided me my next win and it has also given me my first badge from BlogAdda. There is something about the badges from BlogAdda; with out names added to it, they look perfect.

Then in July, there the crashing into the winners of #CrashThePepsiIPL Contest. It was an interesting contest with different phases, and my post, Favourites of the List won in one of the phases there. I believe that it was in July that there was the #StressFreeMom Contest which had me winning again for the post All the Stress in the World and then again with #YoursHonestly Contest with my post A Letter on Integrity. It was the season of good things coming together at least in my blogging life.

post

JSW #WillOfSteel activity was one of my favourite contests, and I consider it as an honour and privilege to have participated in it. That was a nice escape from writing reviews and reading what the blind fans have to write, because what we were supposed to do were to support inspirational people who have made a difference in the world with their will of steel; the kind which India can be proud about. I actually posted about two such individuals on two different posts, and it is my post Tea for Inspiration which won the prize from BlogAdda.

wos

Then there is the recent win which came at a time when I was hoping to win something interesting, and my post Colours and Variety had a chance there. I was thinking that I was losing my strength, and then there was BlogAdda with this prize. Bed Bath More Paint Me Wild activity was where I wrote about what I actually wanted with my home in a completely personal manner, and it felt good that this one won a prize which is bigger than the other ones in the second half of the year.

I also have to share about my other post The Undead Book of Life because I won movie souvenirs from the movie The Path of Zarathustra, once again through an activity from BlogAdda. I love this one a lot because this is a movie which I really wanted to watch, but it didn’t release here. So, I decided to be happy with at least those souveniors. In a world where there are abusers and haters who will never accept the opinions of others, one can only be happy about BlogAdda providing us with such opportunities and rewards, making 2015 a better year.

Temptation by Innovation

I was reading about LG Nexus 5X, and there were a number of innovative features that caught my attention at the first look itself. I have always been satisfied with the mobile phones which I had, and none of the changes were really inspired by frustration, but the hope for finding more innovation. There are not many things other than innovation that inspires one to change the trusted mobile and buy a new one; such is the power of the innovative features – it draws us towards buying the gadget like nothing else.

We can love the present mobiles as much as we want to, but we are still driven towards the temptation. Innovation becomes that best part of the temptation which we can’t resist and have to fall for. It is nobody’s fault though, as we are left with no choice considering our limitations against resisting the temptations. The end result is that we give up the existing mobile phone and buy the new one, thus beginning the new age. Here are the innovations which the LG Nexus 5X brings to us to consider another awesome mobile phone for buying.

nexus (1)

The USB Type-C charger is with the reversible feature is that first thing that comes to my attention as the thing of innovation. I currently got two mobile phones with me, an Asus Zenfone 5 and a Samsung Galaxy A5, both of them having the different side up when I try to connect the charger or data cable. It has been confusing also because I try to connect it without looking – with this new feature of LG Nexus 5X, this has become possible. I can just do the same without looking or thinking with this option.

The Nexus Imprint is the next factor which contributes to the list of innovative things, and it seems to be something that every mobile should try to have. The presence of this fingerprint sensor makes sure that things get more secure, and at the same time, ease of use is guaranteed with this facility. It is placed on the back of the phone and under the camera where it rightly fits and brings further quick access to the user. Turning on the screen and unlocking the apps have never been this easy. This is a real smart move.

Then there is the chance to love the camera which is innovative in itself. I would love to test that one day; because I haven’t known something as big as the one LG Nexus 5X possesses; it seems to be something of higher quality above the usual innovations which got more of the claim than the reality. I have been lacking a certain amount of knowledge concerning the technical side, but as it seems and from what is read, this one looks like another innovative one which can further add to that list.

nexus (2)

With the 5.2-inch display and the hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor, LG Nexus 5X brings something strong and beautiful to the market. The looks are stylish with the light blue version bringing a stunning effect, and the black one is also a beauty which is not that much far behind. There also seems to be a lot of pre-installed Google Apps which will add to total happiness factor of the mobile phone owner. There is the promise of the best Android experience also present there.

So, the temptation that LG Nexus 5X brings with the help of innovation is rather a powerful one from which you can escape only with consistent prayers, and the realization of the truth that you have an empty pocket. Otherwise, there is no escape, as the beauty of innovation will take you on this day or another. It is not just the innovation that tempts, but also the innovation that inspires creativity. The LG Nexus has been there for some time, and only gets better.

Smile on a Face

I have always believed in Vegetable Nuggets. Along with the French Fries, these have been my favourite whenever I wanted to have something light for the stomach whenever I visited a mall or multiplex. They were quite cheap, and just like popcorn, could be eaten while watching a movie on the big screen or television. I also used to have them with the rice just like vegetable cutlet. So McCain Veggie Nuggets is the first thing that catches my attention here too.

cain (1)

Then there is the Aloo Tikki, and these two makes life better. As we usually have vegetarian food for most of time, there are these two things which can bring the change when we are having some time out or traveling. There can also be some French Fries to go with these, but the two things become significant in more than one way. I have often wondered how life will be without these two things, and it is nice to see that McCain Foods India is providing them and making sure that they are better available.

Both of these items are not readily available close to where I live, and it is another case of misfortune. The options with the vegetarian food haven’t been much, and when they are here, it has been mostly about the South Indian food items. I have only recently known about the existence of Aloo Tikki as what it is, reminding me of the Vegetable Cutlet along with Vegetable Nuggets also doing the same. It has been different for the local bakeries and restaurants though.

cain (2)

The situation always brought something like Onion Vada, Uzhunnu Vada or Parippu Vada instead of the rest as some light food. Even otherwise, it could only bring the Vegetable Puffs, Vegetable Burger or Samosa as the biggest variety which has been with us all these times available at the bakeries. Having the same food has been part of our lives whenever there was no non-vegetarian option. We still hoped for more variety, but never really had them around here.

This brings a smile to our faces as they are the perfect light food items to have at any time, with the tea or just having in hand as part of the food while traveling to that place where food is not easy to get. The two food items can also be combined with rice to make up for a possible vegetable curry absence. It is a nice combination to have, and it brings happy times as the side dish not only for the usual rice, but also for the Biriyani Rice or Fried Rice, with or without gravy.

So, these snacks need to be there whenever there is the need. The presence of the same when we are looking, will only make sure of the smile on the face. This is the kind of food that most of us having been waiting to have when the need arises, and it has been so for quite a long time. So, the happiness is when they become available a lot more and at many more places. In a world of chaos, may be we can at least be happy about the food that we desire for.

When it is all about food, we have our interesting choices. They are not the same everywhere, but there will be the very few which we will always prefer to have. When we succeed in having them, it puts a smile on our faces, at least at that point of time. It is among of those very few things which can make us happy in a world which holds nothing much for humanity other than depression and sadness as McCain India brings them.

Colours and Variety

What are the usual colours that one chooses for the inside and the outside of a house? Some people keep telling us to choose the light colours and that the best colour is white. They say that everyone is choosing white or similar colours and so we should also choose the same. One of my uncles had once said “as we are part of a society and because they are choosing light shades, we should also do the same”. I immediately told him that I won’t, and that felt good. Yes, for some people, copying others is the only known thing.

Most of the houses in Kerala are defined by one thing, about how to build a house like somebody else, with a bigger size. Every day, people think about how to make huge houses which are good enough to make a lot of pre-British kings of India shocked. There are so many big houses in Kerala, which makes one wonder if they build houses to take photos and videos instead of living. Some people make houses, but do they classify as homes? Is this copying of others and showing vanity the right thing?

paintin

Well, people will continue to do the same, because some people need to waste their money and the others will also get some housing loans. Having a big car and a big house determine just too many things. So, what we can change is the colour – we can at least choose different shades from our neighbours. Let me tell you something about my neighbourhood. Almost every house around here is white, and the remaining are all having some shade of yellow. No matter whose house they are, there is no variety here at all.

Even if we look at those churches, whether it is Catholic, Orthodox or some Pentecostal church, the colour is just white outside. That actually surprises me because it is usually the tomb which is whitewashed. Whenever I see something painted white, I feel a tomb – sorry Obama, that includes White House too. There got to be changes, and each building should have its own identity. There should be something special about each home, hall or place of worship.

Among all the available colours, I will choose red, because it is the colour of blood, and has high intensity. It is easily visible and its has a certain amount of energizing power. Blue is also my favourite colour, but for my room and the other bed rooms, red looks like the best choice. It should also be the colour outside, and the best would be the brick-red colour, because it gives an even better feeling. Actually my house is already painted red, and so the same colour works very well for me.

painting

The blue shade comes to the picture in other rooms, especially the dining room and the main hall. I was checking the colour for this particular room, and it looked very good right there. It has to be the purple variant. There is something royal about it, and most of the blue shades actually gives a certain happy feeling. It brings the blue sky and the blue ocean, keeping one close to the feeling to wander around and at the same time, be happy. May be one bed room can also have the same colour or some other shade of blue.

The red is strength while blue is peaceful inspiration for me. Actually, the #PaintFinder feature from the Bed Bath and More website allows you to choose a colour and recreate your dreams. There is also the availability of preview in a virtual room. This will be nice option which makes sure that you make the right choice with colours. Lets paint something wild with all these available options and see the preview, so that we can know what awaits us, a long time before.

Root Canal and Commercials

“Vampire Alert! Vampire Alert!” the special alarms came up with the scary words which were not usual for the vampire team. It was meant to declare the highest level of emergency, like a werewolf attack, zombie raid, elf happiness, goblin cricket matches or it could be about something missing from the blood collection. There was also the special immortal music that accompanied the same. The team of vampires rushed to the main hall to find Dracula lying on the floor with his arms covering his mouth.

“What happened to him?” asked the Vampire Panda.

“Is Uncle Dracula dead? Can I mourn his death right now? I have this new selfie stick and may be I can start using this with his dead body – what do you think?” asked the Vampire Hamster.

“I think that his fangs are gone. Then, I can take over as the new vampire chief because I have strong battle claws. Let him retire” said the Vampire Owl.

“How can you take over? I am the one true symbol of vampirism. I even have crowned teeth, and so I should be crowned as the Lord Protector of all Vampires and some Zombies of the Realm” said the Vampire Bat.

transyl (2)

“What are you talking about here? I am not dead, and I got my fangs, you idiots” screamed Dracula with his arms over his mouth.

“Oh! We are very much relieved about this disappointment, dear uncle” said the Vampire Owl.

“I was just watching this movie and there were more commercials than movie. It was a festival special movie for the humans stretched to five hours, and watching all these pathetic commercials made me bite my own teeth and one of them on the left side has just fallen down. I called our official vampire dentist and he has recommended a root canal because the teeth are very old. This is actually depressing because I am now the first elder vampire in the history to have a root canal. All these because of the advertisements” Dracula added.

“Don’t worry, uncle. I am a vampire with root canal. But tell us more about the advertisements” said the Vampire Bat.

“There was this advertisement in which humans were trying to look pale, and they were using a magic cream for the purpose. It says that having white skin is very important for having confidence and progressing in life. Only white people get good alliances in marriage and also high level jobs according to them”.

“What? Didn’t we ban that advertisement here? We are sorry, Uncle Dracula. We had banned those racist commercials, but it seems that these people managed to sneak in a few by bribing our zombie guards” informed the Vampire Owl.

“Then there were those jewellery commercials. There were so many of them and I was shocked to know how much these silly mortals value the yellow metal. It was another depressing thing, and I wondered why we are not so interested in that thing. I felt that they will keep killing each other for the same – shocking, isn’t it?” asked Dracula.

“Just like the Lich Queen, I guess” remarked the Vampire Panda.

transyl (1)

“I also watched a few commercials in which people were doing strange things, like trying to die, but they don’t, and then they drink something which looks like chemical and still they don’t die. What is wrong with these people? May be some humans are immortal too” said Dracula.

“I know that one. I had asked Lady Death why they never died” said the Vampire Hamster.

“And then people studying at some place called IIN where they start hotels when they can’t study hotel management. Do they start a crisis if they can’t study crisis management? There is the teacher who wants to use internet instead of books and there is a village where women don’t go to college, but proudly stays at home with mobile phones. Thank God that we use telepathy and not telephones here”.

“These are old commercials. These humans bring these things late here, and still they are the ones outdated” said the Vampire Bat.

“But now you will go to the dentist. You have to get the root canal done” said the Vampire Owl.

“We should just let a druid prepare a magic potion and the remaining tooth will just come out and pain will disappear” suggested Dracula.

“You mean android?” asked the Vampire Hamster.

“Never mind. Damned be those television commercials” replied Dracula.

The Twist of Fate

It was a long time ago that I had this doubt in choosing between English and History for graduation. The problem was that I liked both of the subjects almost equally, and couldn’t figure out a choice between them. I was also not confident about choosing between these two also because I was a very doubtful person, and wondered which of these would do me good and which one won’t be that good for me. There was not going to be much difference in the studies for me, but there was going to be certain change in the results.

I used to read both English Literature and History works, and so that was going to be a problem. So, I decided to ask a few people. The result was all on one side though, in favour of English. I tried tossing a coin, and even that showed English. Only the time spent in the games Age of Empires, Rise of Nations, Civilization and Caesar had me with another ideas. People were all so much in favour of English that I wondered why they hadn’t recommended Humanities to me for Plus Two. Still, I was closer to one of my two favourite courses then.

And then there was the Lighthouse Beach at Kovalam.

We need lighthouses in our lives to show where to go without hitting the rocks.

I was still going to tell these people when I joined and where, because letting too many people know things was the reason behind most of my problems. So, I called my friend who was studying outside Kerala, and as many of the others and almost every friend whom I had from school or neighbourhood, he was also going through Engineering. If he wasn’t going through that course, that would have been a surprise, because I have had the title of being the only one strange non-Engineer, non-Doctor person.

He told me to go on with English because he knew that I wrote something which none of my friends wanted to read or understand. I felt that it was a fair suggestion because I had often wondered what I wrote about and why. Choosing English could give me a better direction at that time. There was the need to read more and direct my writings better. So, choosing English was the right thing to do, and History could happen on another day. So, the friend went back to the procedure of collecting supplementary exams, and I made clear about the choice again.

During these days, I wonder about the decisions, but choosing English hasn’t really bothered me at all, even as I couldn’t find a job after that; it is just that the route doesn’t make me sad. It is something that I had wanted and with both the BA as well as the MA, I have never really felt any big trouble during the course. Even now, I find happiness in being MA English graduate rather than any other, and this also meant that I could study in the one college where I always wanted to study. It was the right choice; may be History would have done just okay, but the choice was still fine.

Darkness spreads. But how fast can that happen?

Choices do make things happen – what if we take that wrong turn instead?

But I did take my second degree in History too, and so it wasn’t really a loss even there. In the end, it was about which degree to come first and which one to follow. With nothing lost in the end, the #SachchiAdvice worked better because the language had given me more power, and I could use a good amount of this acquired strength while writing for the History exams too. History had also come as one of the extra subjects to study for the English graduation. So everything was related.

Nowadays, when I wonder what I should have done different or what I could have chosen in another way, this choice doesn’t come to the list of bad decisions, and it happens to be the #SachchiAdvice which has made things work. There is always the need for some confirmation related to the decisions from people we trust, and I haven’t been that good in making decisions. But here, the decision was the kind which still inspires me to write. I feel that if I was not MA English, I wouldn’t have even started a blog at WordPress.

Hello on the Beach

It was once again not a good day. I wandered around the beach which was very much without any crowd. It was mid-noon and expecting a crowd there would have been rather a strange idea. But I was there, and I was glad to be there at that time. Nobody was around and with the mobile phone switched off, there was no words of nonsense advice coming up. So, I continued the walk until I heard the voice.

“Hello! Hello!” the voice came up with the same thing.

I looked around to find the person, but there was nobody. I checked the phone to make sure that it was switched on, but it was not. Then I turned around to face the rocks, and there I found the Lich Queen.

“So you are here again. It is always a pleasure of horror seeing you. How did you manage to resurrect yourself this time?” I asked.

“I am a simple undead creature who gets animated on magic. I thrive on your depression; it works like a spell to bring me back from the dead each and every time. I have often wondered from where you find the sources for this much depression. It has made me feel so much alive this time” she said.

DSC02328

Wandering through a beach at mid-noon – perfect for some extra thoughts!

“I have my interesting sources, and I have even listed them down. But you look so beautiful this time. What happened to the skeletal structure? This is against the third law of the undead which talks about bones. You are like the prettiest girl around here right now”.

“That was smart, because I am the only girl around here right now and so I will automatically be the prettiest; no need to say. Yes, I am more than just skeleton right now. Your depression has hit a new level, and it has helped me to get my own upgrades” she said.

“Stop feeding on my depression to come back to life. Why are you always after me? Why don’t you go to one of those sorcerers practicing black magic and make them bring you back from the dead?” I asked.

“They are not really good as they used to be. The modernity has taken a lot of their powers away, and they struggle to keep the magic going in the world of science. But that is no worry, as I have you here. Who is your source of depression this time? The ones who compare you with their children and keeps telling you that you should be like them?” Lich Queen asked.

“Yes, something like that and a little bit more” I answered.

“No way! I thought you had gone a long way beyond that. You have been listening to that ever since you were born. I was expecting something bigger! I thought that it would have something which I can tell my zombie minions. Yes, we are going to attack you together because my zombie kids need more territory and bones, but this is depressing for me to come alive feeding on this centuries old case of depression” she complained.

“I should just get rid of you because I need loneliness. This beach is supposed to be lonely at this time” I said.

“No, you can’t. I am the product of your depression and I will be with you until sunset when I will be free to go to my zombie team. We will have some horror fun around here. I will let you know about the total number of skeletons under this sea and we will count the number of crabs under the sands. I can even tell you when the sky will fall on your head” she said.

DSC04403

The sands, the sea and the coconut trees never judge people – fair enough!

“I really don’t need to know that. Do you know that you can go and sit under that coconut tree until sunset because you can see me from there and then you will be with me without bothering me?” I asked.

“Absolutely not. I have to cheer you up. Why don’t you start the process by saying a hello back?” Lich Queen asked.

“Why do you need a hello?” I wondered.

“Because you can write about how a hello lead you to the Lich Queen? Isn’t it a nice reason?” she asked.

“Yes, not that interesting though” I replied.

“Well, things are going to change now. We are going to talk about those people who think that you are not good enough. We will connect them to hell and then we can roast them in the Devil’s Chicken Curry. I still wonder why none of them have come to my place yet” she said and continued talking as if there was no end to the dialogues.

As the day came to an end, the time period of the existence of that ‘hello’ was beginning to disappear, and the Lich Queen scattered into the wind which carried her off to the nearby cemetery. It was also the time for me to leave as I kept a few things said by her in my mind and returned home.

What Do We Know?

There has been no shortage of newspapers in the vampire world which were smuggled through the portal to the other realm. One of them had the attention of Dracula who decided to teleport himself to the land of the humans, where the Vampire Bat awaited his arrival. “What is it about this India Today Woman Summit and what is this thing about women wanting to be treated specially or equally? What is wrong with these humans and what is it that these people require?” Dracula wondered. A certain understanding was reached with five situations at five different places.

They first stopped at a village where a woman was looking to keep her second child after losing the first one to female foeticide forced upon her by the relatives of her husband. She had her own doubts about this one too, and had left the house. Dracula refused to believe such incidents happening during this modern age and wondered if they had used the time machine instead of the teleportation device, but the Vampire Bat assured him that it is the right device, and to make sure about the same, pressed the button again to instantly teleport them to another location.

transyl (1)

The device re-appeared at another location and it crashed into the garden of a house. They were quick to hide the machine and listened to the conversation going on inside home. While leaving, Dracula asked “Why should this girl stay with the idiot who is not worthy of marriage? Just because he is rich and has good looks, why should she tolerate this egoistic maniac? This is ridiculous”. “I would blame the parents in this case. They are always looking for the rich men from reputed families and not men with character. Some idiots think that a job with high salary and family reputation means everything” said the Vampire Bat.

The repaired device stopped at the top of an Airtel mobile tower. They looked around with their exaggerated visions to notice two separate incidents, one where a girl was stalked by three men, and another where four men were acquitted by the court nearby as the accusation on them for molestation was wrong. “This is rather confusing. Which one is real? One of them is an illusion, right?” asked Dracula. “Both are real. There are just good men and women and then there are the evil ones” replied the Vampire Bat. “It is just not that simple as it is in the vampire world. Humans are too unpredictable” he added.

“See that one on the left side!” the Vampire Bat screamed. Dracula turned around to see a man yelling about shortage of dowry. “That idiot! I don’t understand why the families get the women to marry these men who ask for money. There is no favour being done here, and marriage is not about saving the girl. They should say no to the men who ask dowry, no matter what he has to offer. This is not love, but an insult to women. It is a shame that they even give dowry for love marriages” said Dracula. “I have told you many times that these humans are strange. Even most of the good men don’t have the right to choose what to study and whom or when to marry” said the Vampire Bat.

They rested under a tree behind a stage on which a lady was speaking about why all men are evil and how they should leave the women alone to achieve what they have always wanted. They remembered that the same lady had asked for more reservations for women in various fields along with some special treatment at another venue. She had also asked for hatred against men. “Who is she?” Dracula asked. “It is a human thing. They don’t really know what they want, but they find ways to hate each other every day. She is just a very good contributor in one particular field. The religion and caste based hate fields are more popular” the Vampire Bat replied.

“Forget them. Nobody has any idea. At least do you actually know what you want?” Dracula asked. “I don’t know it either. But I have understood that there will never be true equality unless everyone tries to achieve it, stopping the discrimination on the basis of not just sex, but also social status, caste, religion, community, money, race, language and everything else which divides the world including the extremities of nationalism” said the Vampire Bat. “I am delighted to know that you are thinking exactly the same way as I have been directing my thoughts” said Dracula as he disappeared into the shadows.

Right From Within

The darkest day of the month was chosen for accomplishing this. It was the biggest mission that the Vampire Team had undertaken during their long journey together. They had fought the Great Pimple Overlord, the Devil’s Shadow, the Minions of the Lich Queen, Devourers of the Shadows and many more, but none of them could match up to this great objective. This was not just for the Vampire World, but for the whole realm and its existence which rested on one thing, as the Vampire Owl switched on the small dynamo torch.

“This thing is not working. What a ridiculous device. I knew that those human salesmen were lying” said the Vampire Owl which shaking the torch.

“Yes, it won’t work until you charge the dynamo. Start turning that lob to charge it” said the Vampire Bat.

“These are ridiculous inventions from the humans. We could have just borrowed that magic wand from the Potato Witch which could have worked without charge. I will get this one charged. Do it, apprentice” Vampire Owl passed the torch to the Vampire Hamster.

“I have a very strong feeling that this is a flawed plan and bring no positive results. Do you really think that this will work?” asked the Vampire Crocodile.

“Yes, why not? We have entered the projection of Mavis Dracula’s mind so that we can bring the inspiration right from within. This is a special personal mission for Uncle Dracula. We can’t fail in this. We will find a solution right inside her mind so that she will feel better and face her future with better confidence” said the Vampire Bat.

transyl (1)

“Wait! I sense evil. My crow sense is triggered” said the Vampire Crow.

“Holy Vampire Lords! Everybody stay calm. It is the dangerous Twilight essence! How did it even get in here?” asked the Vampire Raven.

“Take it! Bring it and put it in the Anti-negativity Orb. We don’t want such things wandering around in her mind. It will weaken her true vampire essence” said the Vampire Bat.

“Done! But where is the inspiration? Where is the source?” asked the Vampire Alligator after taking the Twilight away.

“It had to be somewhere around here according to the sources” wondered the Vampire Owl.

“The Great Vampire Oracle is never wrong; it says so in our text books” said the Vampire Crow.

“But there is no inspiration! We had to awaken it and prepare it to be launched from within. This is real shame” said the Vampire Owl.

“Wait! What is that sound getting stronger? I think that we are being teleported back to reality” said the Vampire Bat.

“And, then we were back without accomplishing anything in particular. Note this small leap for the vampire kind, my dear brethren because we are going to forget this forgettable experience very soon” said the Vampire Owl.

“Oh there you are! Hello, Mavis. How are you today? It is good to see you again” they said in one voice.

“It is good to see you all once again. I am feeling pretty good. But I have heard about what you people were doing. Are you completely out of your mind?” asked Mavis.

“I believe that these people are just twenty eight percent sane, madam. I am at around twenty three percent” said the Vampire Hamster.

“What? Why do you need to wander around inside my mind? Don’t you know that you people are my real inspiration? she asked.

“But it was just a few days ago, that Uncle Dracula had asked for…”

“Forget him. He is too worried about everything, and so are you people. I have enough inspiration inside my mind, and what I need here is you people who are my family” she added.

transyl (2)

“See, I had told you that the first time this idea came up” said the Vampire Owl.

“Yes, you told the exact opposite and we were forced into this idea” said the Vampire Bat.

“It is okay, people. I am inspired. There is absolutely no problem at all. You can tell that to my dad and have a special blood feast tonight” she said.

The Vampire Team left the room, and Mavis Dracula wondered about what it really meant to be inspired from within. She knew that all that she needed to be inspired was the family. It was her strength and it was the boost to her soul. Meanwhile, Dracula was sitting on the branch of a tree outside the tree and wondering if what she said was true.

Secrets of Life and Death

He had always struggled in his life, and had absolutely no say in his life until he had gone past his teenage and even after that, there was trouble. The whole thing was always a struggle because the relatives always made sure that they knew what he wanted to study and where he wanted to go to school or college, and they made sure that he never got them. The relatives always tried to bring him and his ideas down. The result was that he never really got anywhere, and the relatives wanted to make fun of him and at the same time praise their own children.

There was going to be a marriage function on the very next day. Another one his cousins was going to get married, and he knew that he was going to be ridiculed there because of one of the cousins marrying a rich girl and having a lot of property while another person had got a new job with high salary. He decided to write something about it for some peace. He took his old diary and checked if there was something there which he could add. There, he noticed a letter lying between the books.

Darkness spreads. But how fast can that happen?

Darkness spreads. But how fast can that happen in the life of a common person?

It was about a book. It told him to look for a book which was to answer his question about what life was. He had thought that there was nothing much about it other than to dance to the tunes of some people. He checked under the huge collection of books to find a huge book which seemed to be very old. He noticed what was written on the cover page – “The Secret of Life and Death”. He found that each page of the book was of a different colour and he decided to start reading.

The first page said “Do you think that those who show that they are really happy got any kind of joy in their life? They just pretend. They show off to make you look depressed. With your hopeless behaviour, you are making them happy, and that is their only way of happiness. They actually do this to many people and you are just one of them. They tell you that their huge collection of money is the secret of all kinds of happiness, but it is not. If you keep looking at their faces, you will understand that they can’t always pretend”.

He turned the page to read further “They think that they can hold on to money forever, and can make a fool out of you. But they can’t. There is a certain truth about all rich men, women and empires, and as proven by history, they do fall. This will happen now, later or a long time from now, but it is sure to happen. In the cases of these people, they are not even loved by others. All the appreciation that they get is from the people who are just like them, and they will abandon each other whenever the right time comes. It is the way of their life, and it is how they thrive”.

He moved on to the next page “With the desire to be with their sons and daughters which never happens, these people just pretend to be the great parents of the successful off-spring, but it is just an act of vanity which is powered by their need to show the world that they are not failures. History had such parents who made their own empires fall into nothingness, and the world is only going to know a lot more of them. The darkness is in their blood and it will only get stronger. It won’t matter how you respond, because they have a lot of such dark matter in store”.

Is there a sign of relief among the dark clouds?

Is there a sign of relief among the dark clouds, or is it just vain hope?

The next page turned out to be the last page with clear letters “Therefore my dear, do not fall into the fake paths to victory. There is no need to fall into the abyss of those judgments. There is no mystery here, but you. Only you can find it. Do not listen to others because the only place where you need to look is right inside you. Never let the people around you weaken your cause, as they have absolutely no role in your life just like they have nothing to do with the lives of their own children. We have always known that this day will come for one generation or the other, and make sure that you use this advice well”. He closed the book and decided to make a point.

The Undead Book of Life

It was a beautiful evening with Uncle Dracula having gone for a movie with most of the vampire minions. Vampire Owl came out of the castle with a huge book in his hands. It was written as a mixture of Old English and Latin, and he put the book in front of the Vampire Bat who was having a cup of tea in the garden.

“This is the book I was talking about. It is called The Undead Book of Life and has been passed on from our ancestors. It has the secrets to a better life. There is also a letter on the first page which explains things in detail. I found it at the darkest corner of the Great Vampire Library” said the Vampire Owl.

“It is a work which is often considered as the nemesis of The Book of the Dead. Do you trust something which was found at the darkest corners? Don’t you feel that such works will have a certain amount of darkness in themselves ready to be unleashed, taking control of our dark side?” wondered the Vampire Bat.

“We are the creatures of the dark, even though we rarely exhibit those characters in light. But humans do, and their darkness is in their souls. The book talks about it, about how easier it is to be evil compared to being good. You search for goodness, and you end up finding darkness most of the time” added the Vampire Owl.

“It is a well-known thing. Evil is too easy for the humans. These humans do things that we could never imagine. What they don’t understand is that it takes a lot to be a real human. It is actually easier to be a vampire, even though it is tough to be a responsible one”.

“There is a lot of detail about the same in this movie. It talks about the universal brotherhood, and how humans have perverted the idea of equality to provide the same for only a few people. I can say that this book goes back to those times when the elder vampires lived with the humans, and had so much to teach each other” said the Vampire Owl.

“This idea of equality has its origins in the vampire community itself, as we have always supported each other throughout the history because it was necessary for our own survival. It is clearly depicted in a good number of vampire history books. It was the humans who took so much time to understand and then twist it” added the Vampire Bat.

“It is surprising that humans need to be taught morality and love for their fellow creatures. We developed it ourselves. We have tried to teach them the same through centuries, but have failed. Even the religions couldn’t teach them that”.

“Well, I see it here. Life is all about loving and having mutual-respect for your fellow beings. It has always been the idea, right? But why these humans are fighting each other for no true reason is really beyond me” added the Vampire Bat.

“The true essence of life is known to everyone already – it is love. There is a long detail about it in this book, but it exists in true forms. Still people find it too difficult to get the thing enabled. The selfish needs take over. There is envy, vanity and hate which erases all things related to love” said the Vampire Owl.

“So, are we giving a copy of the same to the humans?” asked the Vampire Bat.

“I don’t believe that we should do that. They should be allowed to make their own choices because love is not something which has been unknown to them. It is how it was always supposed to be. You still write a lot, don’t you? Such an interference in the lives of the characters won’t do that good to the story of life. Don’t you think so? the Vampire Owl wondered.

“Yes, lets give them an opportunity to find what they have always known. I doubt if they will still find it though” said the Vampire Bat.

“What is life, but an opportunity to love your fellow beings? What is a better truth?” the Vampire Owl wondered.

My Room! My Room!

I have always wanted my room to be different and personal. Some people will call it weird, but I wouldn’t mind that. If my room doesn’t have something special compared to the others, it wouldn’t be mine at all. Even when we were staying at the flat, I had taken special care in having some variety with the colours, and now when we are at our house, I have tried to bring a lot of variety there too. My room is partially bed room, study room and kitchen, as you can divide my room into three.

Yes, I would like my room to be a lot different than any other. The current room was chosen by me because it was on the back side of the house, facing the green vegetation which surrounded the abandoned house there. It served as a certain kind of inspiration for me. There is no chance of me changing this room and choosing another. So, I hope to make this room my little dream world. I already got it coloured in three, in red, blue and yellow, and even though I would have preferred a little bigger room, I am hoping to make it more awesome!

The Godrej Interio photo actually inspires me to use another colour for my room, and it is purple. I believe that this colour can bring only positive feeling, and I haven’t yet seen the colour being used in the homes of my friends and relatives. People have always chosen the light colours, but I would choose the darker ones, and while brightening the red colour on one side of the wall, I would choose purple for the rest of the room. That should bring some more of the needed variety to the room.

interio1

I already have facilities for placing a lot of items in my room even as the total size of the room is not that huge. There are enough cupboards here to keep my whole life in it, and what I would require now are open shelves where I can keep things which are needed regularly. For the same, I hope to make good utilization of the walls. I already have some wall shelves, but I hope to get a few bigger ones which can be used to the best advantage. I will need to have those of different sizes.

I would need to change the bed with something which is longer, and surely made of wood. I would need a new almirah to replace the big one which is present now. My favourite material for all these has been mahogany as usual. There is also space for an extra computer table along with the study table. I would have that made of the same material too. I have a hanging light right now, and I would like to use a chandelier instead of it so that I look up while I am on the bed and enjoy its beauty.

My room’s curtains are dark purple now, and with the change of colours of the wall, I would like to change this one to brown or red depending upon the designs which are available. I need a better stand for putting the recently used clothes along with an extra wardrobe on the side. I haven’t been a fan of fashion, but this will surely help in getting things in order. Some art on the wall will only do good. Some creatives pieces of art should also be places on the shelves to give some more of the special feeling.

My room is no awesome room as far as designers are concerned, because they can always use better rooms to create better output. But I have been so addicted to my room that sleeping somewhere else is not that easy. But if you visit the room, you will know that it is different, and there is a certain mixture of things that might seem interesting. With all which has been already set up, it will be easy to create something awesome out of it. There can be more variety than ever before.

Time Machine’s Child

“Are you sure? This is a tiring job. This looks like another blue sofa” he said.

“Yes, and you have to turn it around” she said.

“We have been turning blue sofas around for quite a long time. We turned them around so many times that some of them are now in their original positions. Why are we in this furniture shop in the middle of the night? You told me that we will hide here until the shop closes and there is something which is a matter of life and death. Now, you are turning blue sofas around. Have you completely lost your mind?” he asked.

“I am trying to reach a certain pattern. Can you just trust me for now?” she asked.

“Yes, I can do that. But turning blue sofas around at midnight is no sign of trust” he remarked.

“But it is so in this case”.

“Well, this is too strange. I have seen many kinds of people, but none of them keeps turning the blue sofas around in a furniture store at midnight for no reason” he said.

DSC06166

“Okay, please read this then. It has enough details” she said while giving him a book.

“Your diary? No, I would rather turn the blue sofas in all directions”.

“But don’t you want to know why we are turning the blue sofas around?” she asked.

“Yes, but I don’t want to read the terrible details in there. None of it makes any sense” he hesitated and turned another blue sofa around.

“It is about a time machine and the future” she said.

“I wonder why it is not about the fairies”.

“Well, it is a long story. There is a myth not much known. It is about the opening of a portal which initiates a lost time machine as it alters the balance which is maintained between the past, present and future, and the machine will come through from an alternate reality”.

“You used to talk about a time machine since you were a kid. I have often felt that you were seeing things which were never there. I often feel surprised that you see less these days” he said.

“Yes, I used to provide you the information which was fed to me from the future. I know the source now. It is from someone who was lost during time-travel, and there is a machine which lost its way into that reality which has no connection with ours. So, we have to open the portal to know about it better” she said.

“You could have chosen someone who believed, and not me. For me, this is really tiring” he said.

“Wait! Something is happening. Keep watching” she said as she looked under one of the sofas.

A light appeared from under one of the blue sofas and covering the same, shadowy figure appeared. With a long tail, two horns, two giant wings and fangs, the creature came out from under the furniture and stood tall. Its wings covered most of the width of the room and the horns were burning blue. Its fangs were bloody and its eyes were red. There were flames in its right hand and darkness as a globe in its left hand.

“Who are you? Where are you from?” they asked while trembling in fear.

“I love this blue sofa. So you want to know. Well, I am many things. In simple terms, I am the death of goodness; very often, I am the plasterer of falsehood and the darkness of your own soul. You have seen me on many occasions, but you have never really noticed me. I am all around you in the form of abuse and hatred. The creatures from the other world call be by many names. But you can call me Mephistopheles. History has known me by that name. There is no question about where I am from, because I am beyond the realms and I can deny the concrete existence of any known place in your world as I can alter its reality” it said.

It is to the insides of Earth that we have to return, for we are dust.

“This is really not good. I was so wrong” she remarked.

“You have invited me to your world. Now let me take it step by step. There is enough hatred in your world for me to thrive on. I shall make it destroy life like the flames in my hands and spread further like the shadows in my other hand. But I need to start taking over from some point, and I feel that I should start with you two right now, right here. Interesting, isn’t it? it asked.

“I really wish there was a time machine, and then you could have gone back in time and watched supernatural horror movies instead of the science fiction fantasy” he whispered in her ears as the demon set the room ablaze while shadows covered the building from outside. The shadow cover in the night made sure that the flames were not seen by the people in the vehicles who passed through the roads on the way to the airport. A burning diary flew out making its way through the shield of shadows and landed inside a waste bin which also caught fire.

Blogging for Eternity

***My final inspirational bloggers list.

Tara @ Crimson April has been a continuous support to my blog, and The Tea Cerebration(s) with its two biggest super-vampires the Vampire Bat and the Vampire Owl would love to thank her not just for her comments here, but also for the creative ideas which she has been giving through her blog. I consider her blog as a source and exhibition of wonderful creativity. Still, above them all, it would be for that post-card which she sent and became a source of inspiration to write more and more. As she mentions on her blog, there is a creative energy magnet there 🙂

Moon @ Footloose Forever has been another source of inspiration for me. This place has been my favourite nature blog, and she has come up with some wonderful descriptions of places which has left me with a desire to travel a lot. She also has some amazing photos to support her blog posts. My blog, Movies of Soul has also been inspired from the design of her blog, and she has helped me with quite some insight into buying a domain at WordPress and related stuff. I hope to continue receiving the same inspiration 🙂

Purba @ Reverie of Purba has been a constant inspiration for me with her comments, and I have bought and read her book, The Hidden Letters from Amazon; and despite it not being my genre at all, liked it and the characters in it were very interesting. She has also written another book, Walking in the Streets of Love and Destiny; it feels very good to have an author reading your blogs and supporting you, doesn’t it? If you ask me, it surely does. I wish her best of luck for the upcoming works 🙂

banners

Simran @ My Friendship is one of my newer friends in the blogosphere, and you know that good things often happen late, but it is a thing of joy when they do. I have been reading most of her poems, and loved the one called Lost Peace a lot. I have read a good number of her poems and hoping to read a lot more. What surprised me the most was she is a fan of Nazriya Nazim and she has watched a lot of movies/music with Nivin Pauly too – that was more than just surprising; her comment on my Om Shanti Oshana review was a welcome twist 😀

Kokila @ Sunshine n Blue Clouds has been a frequent commenter on my blogs, and is the one who has given me the most comments from Blogspot. I have always wondered how many people will comment on my blog from Blogspot; well, she is the one who does that the most, and has inspired me to comment back on the Blogspot blogs which were not among my priorities as I was stuck with my WordPress community for quite a long time. Along with her wonderful Haiku collection, she also writes awesome book reviews. I hope to continue being inspired from her blog 🙂

Maitreni @ The Style Symphony is the recent winner of the contest “My First Expert” from Godrej and it is amazing victory considering the number of posts and bloggers who were involved in the contest – it was much more than the usual number. The team of her and her mom has provided some of those nice posts at this place. I consider this winning post itself as their best ever My Inexpert Mother; My First Expert Mom! I wish her all the best for her future wins as contests are many and she is writing so well; and also thank her for her frequent visits to my blog.

Deeshani @ Inner Thoughts of a Taciturn made it to my blogger network and vice versa, quite recently. I have loved reading her poetry and among them, I have had special admiration for this poem, Rickshaw Driver. Then, Shades of Glee is another poetic work from her which I have enjoyed a lot. Recently providing me with the Sunshine Award, she has been the inspiration that came late, but was here with some of the best blog posts.

Bindu @ Movie Reviews by Bindu Cherungath is one movie blogger whom I have been very happy about meeting through the blogging universe. Her Om Shanti Oshana review has been my favourite since then. I have also loved to read her views on many other movies including Ormayundo Ee Mukham, Ivide and Premam. Her review on Iyobinte Pusthakam is something which I completely agree on, and it felt extra good to read the opinion there! This paragraph is to the movie love!

Bloggers and Friends

I have written about a number of bloggers who have been very helpful and have managed to be a lot inspirational during my time in the blogging world. Actually, I have only shared three names with my previous three posts, and I have a lot more of them to talk about. So, I will share five other names and their blogs here, and then I will be left with one more post to write about the rest of my blogger friends. I am actually working on another big list, but now I am sharing something about five people who have inspired me.

#1. I managed to find Raja Reviews and its owner Raja Saravanan at a time when I was wandering around the blogging world aimlessly, or rather it was me and Movies of the Soul which was found. Among the first few friends from the blogging community, he has been a big technical help for my blogging situation, and continues to be so. Buying a domain for Movies of the Soul actually meant about an hour of talk on the phone. He has introduced me to his new place for movie lovers, Flixpack, which you might want to have a look at.

#2. Anoop is another person for whom I need to share some space here. Tranquil Yet Alive is another one of those blogs which go quite some way back in my blogging timeline. He is also my favourite Kerala traveler and I hope to accompany him on a trip. He is the second most frequent commenter on this blog as well as Movies of the Soul. He has been here, and also there, most of the time being the first one to comment on a post. His comments have been a frequent inspiration for me to write more, and the Vampire Bat and the Vampire Owl have acknowledged the same.

banners

#3. A Few Handpicked Things in Life from Ranjini is the closest available blog to any of my blogs. That would be a total of 23.9km as the distance between the locations of the blogs, and those two towns of Kerala. I have taken some extra interest for Game of Thrones from her, and did manage to watch all the five episodes; that inspiration also worked very well and I have accepted her GoT guidance. I am particularly interested in her new 100 Happy Days writings, and she is also the one with the fifth most comments on this blog and the sixth on Movies of the Soul.

#4. Shweta and her blog Sunshine and Zephyr have been another strong source of inspiration for me. I have loved to read her posts about Iceland more than the rest, and there were a number of quote-related posts which have recently caught my attention, through which she has shared quotes from her upcoming novel – she has also been there at my blog with comments, the earliest going back to the time when I had just started writing here. She has also left me with the Sunshine Award just recently as you might have noticed earlier.

#5. Harsha might be the first Indian blogger to have visited and commented on my blog regularly. All Resource Updates might be the first Indian blog which I had followed, and it started at a time when I did nothing at any place which boosted my blogging and had almost no contact with other Indian bloggers. He let me know that I really need to get my blog accepted at these websites to make things work better. Even though he has been less active on his blog for some time, he has been more active as of now.

The list is incomplete as expected; there are many names which I would love to add, and more of them to come in the final post of this series. There are many bloggers from outside India too, but this activity is limited to Indian bloggers, and so I have kept this blog post in this way. I take this opportunity to appreciate the help and motivation which have been provided by these five bloggers. Thank you all for the support, and #YouMakeMeWIN!

They Know! They Do!

Vampire Owl: Today is a special day. We have a special test for the vampire apprentices. You have to choose the best dance steps from this Taazgi Ka Dhamaka video involving Allu Arjun and Anushka Manchanda. It is a test and an exercise because it will be part of your total internal marks as and the same will be added to the score for your mini project.

Vampire Squirrel: I see this as an opportunity. This is my first big chance and I am going to use this.

Vampire Alligator: I have been here for a longer time period and so I am going to win the most here.

Vampire Owl: Okay, watch the video and do your work.

Vampire Owl: Okay, I have seen the choices, and it seems like Vampire Crow has the best one. I invite him to come forward and explain why decided to choose this move.

Vampire Crow: I am really thankful for this opportunity. I haven’t attended many study courses, but you can trust me on this because I attend special tuition from the legendary teacher, Doctor Hannibal Lecter. I am also going to thank Count Dracula our eternal uncle, Mavis Dracula our eternal cousin-sister, and…

Vampire Owl: Just get on with it. I don’t even like crows.

Vampire Crow: Well, the one thing that I noticed is how fresh he looks in that shot which can be considered as the beginning step of his dance moves. Even though it cannot be officially considered the beginning of the dance, I would consider this is the first official MaxFresh move and all that started the awesome steps.

allu

Vampire Owl: Okay, that was good. Now for the first runner-up, Vampire Raven.

Vampire Alligator: This is so wrong. People didn’t come for the study classes are getting selected.

Vampire Crocodile: He doesn’t like me. So, I was sure that I won’t get selected.

Vampire Alligator: Well, at least you know. I can’t be sure in my case.

Vampire Raven: I consider the following step as an invite from the man to the others present there. He wants the others to join him. You can check the shot from a distance or just look at his facial expressions to see what this step is about. This invitation can be considered as his biggest move because without it, nobody really joins him. This is also when the dance begins officially.

allua

Vampire Owl: That was a good take from the Vampire Raven. And the second runner-up, the Vampire Crocodile.

Vampire Crocodile: This is a surprise.

Vampire Owl: I invite the Vampire Crocodile to present his views.

Vampire Alligator: Even he got selected. This is strange.

Vampire Cat: He should have been selected, if you ask me.

Vampire Crocodile: I consider this step as the most significant step in the whole video. It is when he becomes the closest to the people there, and it is preceded and succeeded by similar steps which make him almost as if another member of the family itself. It is his great audience oriented step. It is the heart and core of the whole thing.

alluv

Vampire Cat: I told you that he was going to do good.

Vampire Crocodile: Without that step, there is also no next big dance move involving the bride herself. There are the bigger moments which involves almost everyone there including Anushka Manchanda and the groom himself. This is actually an instantaneous step and a remarkable move which has been nicely executed to a certain amount of perfection which is not that much seen. You see the energy there. It is full of the same. This is one grand MaxFresh move. It is your moment of freshness. It can be used at any moment to bring the energy as well as a smile to one’s face.

Vampire Owl: Well, you know who is the winner for the explanation part, and who gets the maximum score. It is Vampire Crocodile with a score of eighty five out of one hundred.

Vampire Squirrel: May be I should attend more study classes.

Vampire Alligator: I doubt the usefulness of the same, considering your intellect.

Wonders: Natural Ones

Vampire Squirrel: But, I really want to know. You know that I have a right to information, at least those of level seven.

Vampire Bat: This is the problem of having new apprentices. Too many doubts. Do you remember what the Vampire Crocodile asked us when he first joined the team?

Vampire Squirrel: But I am a big fan of your stories related to taking care of Little Mavis. I have read many vampire tales, but nothing as cute as that one.

Vampire Owl: I am the one responsible for that, and the stories are all about me and my experiences. The others have contributed very less to the tale.

Vampire Squirrel: Yes, I know. I have read Chapter twenty seven of the Little Mavis Saga. It talks about the same.

Vampire Bat: What? You wrote a book about that? What is in there to create a work?

Vampire Owl: It is a story with a message. Everything reaches a point. It is mostly about how the goodness in natural oils provides wonders to the child’s skin, and even to the bone and muscle development.

Vampire Bat: When did you become an expert in the same?

HT (1)

Vampire Owl: I have been reading a lot. It was part of my reading about taking over the world. I just managed to get the wrong book instead. But I have come up with the ideas which will make me the first vampire expert in the same, and I connect them to my experience of taking care of Miss. Mavis Dracula.

Vampire Squirrel: Which is why I want to know.

Vampire Bat: Well, the artificial colors and chemicals are bad for the baby, and one has to be careful about it. That much, I know.

Vampire Squirrel: I remember those days when I was a little toothless squirrel and everyone wanted to cuddle me. There was so much attention on me, and I wish to go back to that time, for which this book has helped me.

Vampire Bat: Well, you are still very much toothless except for those artificial fangs. The Vampire BookWorks has only published the works which gives a special feeling. They keep a certain quality standards related to the books, as vampires are very close to literature and find inferior books very offensive. This one is also educational, I see.

Vampire Owl: I have clearly made a point against the terrible effects of the artificial ones and has talked about having natural oils like Dabur Baby Massage Oil in that book. What we are looking for is a better next generation, and that includes children free from skin diseases, right?

Vampire Bat: Chemicals are all that we have when we grow up, both inside and outside. So, it is only fair to hope for natural things for a baby, before the exposure to such evil which affects both the mind and the body.

HT (2)

Vampire Owl: Well, it is simple; artificial is bad and natural is good – People just can’t realize the same. I have made it crystal clear with my final conclusion in that book.

Vampire Squirrel: I haven’t reached the end of the book yet. I thought that you both had written it together.

Vampire Bat: No, what I wrote about was a review of the Bollywood movie, Baby. I am not related this baby stuff. You can see that the other blog only deals with movie reviews.

Vampire Owl: I have still added your name though. It is in very small letters on the cover. Most of the people might not notice the same, but he did.

Vampire Bat: Holy vampire! Now, people will think that I am the hidden expert in these matters.

Vampire Squirrel: Excuse me, sir. I already think so, and I came here cent percent sure about the same. It is also the reason why I came to you and not to Sir Dracula.

A Flashback: Vampire Way

Almost everything around us is artificial. There has been a trend of having natural stuff, but that doesn’t really reflect the truth. The marketing is very good and it means that we are forced to believe that something is good for a certain thing, but the actual truth is that it is not even close to being okay. So, the products are artificial and the advertisements are fake, and so how difficult it will be to find the right option?

We even had artificial vampires in the form of Twilight, and then, it is only natural for humanity not to be natural. They have taken modernity to replace the nature and it has been a common thing. The baby’s skin should be even more sensitive to the harmful effects of those artificial things. The negative effects that the products like paraffin can create on the skin are not worth it.

Mavis Dracula: This is an interesting read. There is no horror, but good.

transyl (2)

Count Dracula: And so it was written, and so it is.

Mavis Dracula: Is it true, dad?

Count Dracula: Yes, it is. There is a long story related to that.

Mavis Dracula: Oh! Is it an immortal vampire epic already? Is it part of the Imperial Vampire Library?

Count Dracula: No, not that much. It is related to the Vampire Owl. He has written a book related to the same.

Mavis Dracula: I never knew that he had such a special skill.

Count Dracula: It is a long story. The book was actually very popular with the Lich Queen. She didn’t buy it though. Still managed to take photostat copies for the little zombies.

Mavis Dracula: You are sure that such artificial things were not used on me?

Count Dracula: Yes, there is a list on the things used, and the artificial is not part of it.

Mavis Dracula: I would need to get and read that book to be sure though.

Count Dracula: For gaining more information on the same, I am sending a secret agent, the Vampire Squirrel.

Mavis Dracula: He is of any good? I have never heard about him. I thought I knew all members of the team.

transyl (1)

Count Dracula: Yes, he actually has a very good knowledge about the goodness of natural oils and its benefits for the baby skin. He has read the book, and he is also doing further research about the same.

Mavis Dracula: Is this Dabur Baby Massage Oil from my past? I think I know something about it.

Count Dracula: Yes, a lot related to the same. The vampire babies need special care related to the same. There are only a few years when the vampire child is vulnerable.

Mavis Dracula: I miss those days. There was so much care for me. I have some fine memories from that time. Those days can never come back.

Count Dracula: The memories are recorded, my dear. You can rewind and watch them whenever you feel the need to do so.

Immortal Vantage Point

Vampire Bat: Yes, it is the Immortal Vantage Point that all of us here possesses.

Interviewer: I don’t get it. What on Earth is that?

Vampire Owl: Okay, I will explain it to you. Do you see that electric post outside this castle?

Interviewer: Yes, I do see it. What is special about it? Why is it leaning towards one side?

Vampire Owl: Most of the vampires who go out to hunt with an Immortal Vantage Point end up not seeing the post and hitting it. Until this date, the vampire team has hit that post forty nine times. We are hoping to score the half-century tonight itself. It is the difference between your vantage point and the immortal one.

Vampire Bat: What? That was so negative. They hit that electric post because they are sleepy most of the time and it is the first electric post you see when you get out of this castle. I am sure that if we switch off the generators, you will hit that post too, as the power is supplied from the station only for a few hours every day.

Interviewer: Then you owe me and the readers an explanation.

HT (2)

Vampire Bat: Well, you know that we have all evolved from the mortal side very long ago. We had many ways of seeing things, and it has been changing through the ages. We have lived most of our lives with almost no social contact until Uncle Dracula found us and united the vampire brethren in this castle. I had the Vantage Point of the Bat, he had the Owlish Vantage Point, and so did the other members of our vampire team. They looked at things differently, and according to the mortal existence of their species, never really seeing things as the immortal vampires that they have been.

Vampire Owl: Vampire Crocodile still sees things with the vantage point of Dr. Hannibal Lecter. This is his third vantage point, and it is dangerous to have him with us. I told you.

Vampire Bat: You don’t need to say bad things about other members whom you don’t like. At least he has a stronger vantage point, and Hannibal himself is immortal too. Also, we are united in vampirism. We are the same at heart and in the mind.

Interviewer: So, you were united by the uncle under one vantage point. Can you explain further?

Vampire Bat: Yes, Immortal Vantage Point has been something special. We always had a part of the same attained the moment we became vampires. But we realized it very late as we were afraid to let go of our mortal existence which we thought was still our identity. But it was not the same anymore. Things had changed, and our immortality had replaced our previous existence and had given us another perspective. We needed a guide to explore the same, and it was Uncle Dracula.

HT (1)

Interviewer: Okay, but what is the point? What is the advantage of having this particular vantage point?

Vampire Owl: I can make the point in a shorter way. Have you seen chaos? We see that each and every day. We look at humans from the Immortal Vantage Point and the only things that we see are vanity, hatred, envy and pathetic lies. They are provided so many religious texts and still they haven’t learned. Some of them claim that they can have morality without religion, but that is pure nonsense. None of them got any love for the other.

Vampire Bat: You are making a point again to take over the world. No, the Immortal Vantage Point is not that simple. To be frank, it is not a vantage point as humans see it. You can call it a skill, or a vision. We get to see things from a point which you can never accept. We get to see things as neutrals and also as people among you. We become you, not in blood and bones, but as the life force of your soul. We can’t do it for each person, but we do create a group with the particles from each person’s soul and use a ripple effect to influence a better result.

Interviewer: I am confused. Is this even legal? This is not listed in the vampire powers as I have read in books and noted down.

Vampire Bat: It has been officially added to the list. We are actually conducting spiritual experiments to discover further possibilities.

Interviewer: I think that this will be enough for today. I would like to move to my vantage points without any distractions.

[The interviewer leaves…]

Vampire Owl: I think that he just hit that electric post.

Vampire Bat: How can you be so sure?

Vampire Owl: He looked more confused than we are.
